The Lake Tahoe Snowmobilers is a non-profit 501(C)3 that was founded in 2019 and lead by club members who are passionate about winterized education, safety, and equitable access to our public lands.
We were recently awarded a $7,700 grant from the NV OHV Commission to work in partnership with the Humboldt-Toiyabe to install a kiosk at Mount Rose to educate all users about safety, tread lightly principles, and where the legal riding zones are. For our part, we will be matching this grant to complete the project, which will have an end value of over $15,000. We are excited to be able to bring some of our OHV & OSV registration fees back to the areas we ride.
When the world changed in 2020, LTS reduced our club membership dues. In order to help our sponsors who were struggling financially at that time, we chose to not expire their annual sponsorships from 2019. We followed that by hosting a successful season kickoff Halloween party before last season with over 150 snow enthusiasts gathered at The Eddy in Reno. Save the date of Oct. 29. And we hope to see you at The Eddy again for an even bigger and better Halloween weekend season kickoff event.
As we prepare to enter this season, we are announcing our new sponsorship packages. CLICK HERE to see the list. And, as always, we will continue to have strong partnerships with the Sierra Avalanche Center and the Sierra Snowmobile Foundation.
To start, we are looking for a sole tax-deductible sponsor for the Oct. 29 Halloween kickoff event at The Eddy. Every participant at this event will receive a t-shirt, a glass, and a sticker with your logo on it. You will be able to hang a banner, place an EZ Up, hang flags, etc..., whatever you need to get your brand out there. In order to have these items ready before the event, we will need your commitment, logo, and check in hand no later than Sept. 15, 2022. First to fully commit will have this sole sponsorship for the 2022 Season Kickoff.
We also have tax-deductible annual sponsorships available at the various levels as seen here. Your logo will be on our website, on our 2022-2023 season banner, on our social media, and in our newsletters.
If you are looking for a smaller tax-deductible sponsorship, please consider sponsoring one of our monthly club events. Think of this like sponsoring a hole for a golf tournament, except you will be the sole sponsor for that month's event. Roughly half of our events will be in North Tahoe / Truckee, and half will be in South Lake Tahoe. Just let us know which location you would like to sponsor. Bring your EZ Up, fly your banner, fly your flag, bring your demo sleds, etc...
